MNO Launches Direct Toll-free Number for the Registry
As part of the continuing improvements to the Métis Nation of Ontario (MNO) Registry, we now have a dedicated Registry phone line. The number for the line is:
1-855-798-1006 (toll free) or for local (Ottawa) calls 613-798-1006
The advantage of using this line is that calls are not routed through the MNO reception desk but enter into an automated system that enables callers to quickly and easily access the correct individual to assist them. The automated system provides three options:
Line 2 - Citizenship applications or replacement card;
Line 3 - Harvest applications or Harvest cards;
Line 4 - Genealogy inquiries.
In addition to improved access, calls to the Registry may now be monitored and recorded for training and quality assurance purposes.
